Personal Privacy

Last updated July 18, 2026 · Operated by MD Media LLC (Houston, Texas)

FactFight and MD Media LLC take personal user privacy seriously. We do not sell, rent, trade, or voluntarily provide personal user information to unrelated third parties for marketing, advertising, data brokerage, or commercial resale.

Our Privacy Promise

We will not provide personal user information to a third party unless a limited exception applies. Limited exceptions include a valid court order, subpoena, warrant, legally binding government request, regulatory requirement, user consent, or a situation where disclosure is necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, prevent fraud, secure the service, or comply with applicable law.

Service Providers

FactFight uses trusted service providers — including Supabase (authentication, database, storage), Render (backend hosting), Vercel (website hosting), OpenAI (AI-assisted analysis and moderation), Resend (email delivery), and Expo, Apple, and Google (app delivery) — to operate the service. These providers may process limited information only as needed to provide services to FactFight, and are not allowed to use personal user information for their own marketing or resale.

Legal Requests and Disclosures

We may disclose information when required to do so by valid legal process — including a lawful court order, subpoena, or government request — or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with the law, protect the rights, property, or safety of FactFight, our users, or the public, or to prevent imminent harm. In responding to any such request, we disclose only the information legally required and no more. Where permitted by law, we will make reasonable efforts to notify the affected user before disclosing their information, unless we are legally prohibited from doing so or the request relates to an emergency.

Public Content

Claims, evidence, votes, reports, usernames, profile details, and reputation signals may be visible inside FactFight when users submit them to public or community-facing features. This page does not make public submissions private.
